Digital Collections Program Manager - May 2018

  • Coordinating with Houghton and Harvard Library colleagues to plan, prioritize, and manage projects to digitize archives, manuscripts, rare books, photographs, audiovisual recordings, and other special collections materials

  • Supervising a staff of 1 FTE involved in facilitating the digitization of material ordered by library users

  • Creating metadata for digital projects

  • Soliciting digital project proposals and coordinating processes to set digitization priorities

  • Working across institutions to promote the Houghton's digital collections

  • Forging relationships with outside institutions to pursue collaborative digital projects
