  • Coordinating with Houghton and Harvard Library colleagues to plan, prioritize, and manage projects to digitize archives, manuscripts, rare books, photographs, audiovisual recordings, and other special collections materials

  • Supervises a staff of 1.5 FTE involved in facilitating the digitization of material ordered by library users and the metadata creation for digital collections

  • Soliciting digital project proposals and coordinating processes to set digitization priorities

  • Working across institutions to promote the Houghton's digital collections

University of Minnesota Libraries, Minneapolis, MN - Umbra Search Metadata and Digitization Lead

  • Managing digitization workflow for over a quarter of a million records across 120 archives and rare books collections

  • Supervising seven student workers on digitization and quality control

  • Overseeing copyright, fair use, and other access documentation for all newly digitized records
